Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to do to make sure that underground items (sprinkler system, sump pump, etc.) in my yard are not damaged?

Please notify us if you have any items under your yard that we need to avoid. You can either mark these items with pink flags, spray them with landscape-safe paint, or report them directly to Nextlink at www.nextlinkinternet.com/construction.

Does Nextlink have permission to be on my property?

Yes. We have the legal right to access the designated utility easements. These easements typically run along a back alley, street, sidewalk, rear lot line, or between two lots. If the easement is within a fenced yard, our construction crews will need your help to access the area.

Will Nextlink ensure that my property is not damaged?

We will make every effort to minimize impact to properties and leave everything as it was prior to construction beginning. Once construction is complete and weather permits, we will restore lawns in areas where digging occurred. Additionally, if any damage to property does occur, rest assured we will cover the costs to restore it.

When will I be able to get fiber internet installed at my home?

If our construction efforts are currently underway in your neighborhood, please be sure to enter your address at the top of this page and complete the registration process. This will allow us to communicate construction updates to you as well as ensure you are one of the first homes we contact to schedule an installation appointment once construction is complete.
